In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Genesis 1:1
The Inspiration of the Bible
I believe every word of the bible to be the verbally inspired word of God. I believe that these perfect words are preserved in the King James Version for English-speaking people today.
The Person of God
I believe God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, and eternally reigning in supreme perfection.
I believe in the trinity.
The Person of Jesus Christ
I believe in the virgin birth of Christ, that he was fully God and man, sinlessly perfect, that he vicariously died,
bodily resurrected and will personally return to spare his church from the tribulation.
The Person of the Holy Spirit
I believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit.
He convicts of sins, draws men to salvation and indwells those who put their trust in Christ, thus empowering them for service.
The Fall of Man
I believe that, through Adam’s voluntary sin all men are born sinful and under the eternal condemnation.
The Salvation of Sinners
I believe that salvation comes only through grace given by Christ’s finished work death, burial and resurrection. I believe that the blessings of salvation are made free by the gospel, and that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner but his own inherent depravity and voluntary rejection of the gospel.
The Security of the believer
I believe that those who receive Christ
as their savior are eternally secure in him.
The Doctrine of the Church
I believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing new testament principles, believing its
doctrines, observing its ordinances and exercising its autonomy.
The Doctrine of Heaven and Hell
I believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in a literal burning hell.
Current trends in Theology
I take a separatist stand regarding the current trends in discrediting the Bible and undermining the fundamentals of the faith. These trends include Neo-orthodoxy, New Evangelicalism, the Ecumenical movement and the modern tongues movement.
